JAPANESE SENCHA GREEN TEA: Try this particularly fine green tea with a grassy and vegetal taste. Since sencha is grown in full sunlight, it contrasts to matcha and gyokuro which are mainly grown in the shade.

JAPAN: Our Japanese Sencha green tea is grown in the Kagoshima prefecture of Japan. The weather conditions there are ideal for growing both tea and fruit. Kagoshima is the 2nd largest tea producing region in Japan and has recently obtained recognition for its growth and processing of high grade green teas.

How to brew +

Brew up this green tea by scooping 1.5 tsp of tea for every 8 oz of water. Next, pour your 175 degree water over the tea. Allow the tea to steep for 1-3 minutes. Remove the tea leaves and enjoy this healthy tea!
